A dream takes shape

This crazy idea started 2 years ago in 2006 – it had to take me two years to decide, to do something about this dream of mine. I finally made the dicision in late January 2008, started planning this amazing journey, not telling anyone about it to start with. Soon family and friends found out! “Something was going on?” I could not keep it as a secret! So here we are, going on an ‘Around the World Journey on a bike I normally use for commute to and from work, and in summertime, to go on vacation in Europe. Will it be able to complete this journey? Will I succeed? – only time will tell.
Now with only 8 month left, before leaving Denmark, and head down south of Europe to Gibraltar, I still need a lot of things to be done, but I’m beginning to see, that the dream of mine is taking shape. No way back – Africa here I come… During these days I pack up all my stuff into boxes at my apartment, and move it to my parents residence (sorry mom and dad). I must realize, that some things will need to be sold, including my 18 year old car.
