Bike is back, back is bike

Will fire up the V4 tomorrow and go down to Azul for an Asado (BBQ) and meet some new friends on Saturday 27AUG2010

Hyperpro

The main factory of Hyperpro in the Netherlands is currently helping Mick out when most needed. A new spring is being send down to Buenos Aires, Argentina to fix the preload of the damper. A big thanks to Hyperpro and John Troost for supporting a motorcyclist on the road 15AUG2010

When will the red devil show up?

I have not exactly been followed by luck regarding shipping the bike overseas from Cape Town. The estimated time of arrival now is 23th of August on my birthday. It might be the best birthday gift I have received in many years ;oP 12AUG2010

Now with a plane ticket in my hand (thanks Bea) and the carnet back from the shippers, I can leave Cape Town on the 4th of August 2010. Meanwhile I have uploaded some photos to you guys. There are still plenty of them left to get on the Internet, so have patience! 21JUL2010

Gear

After some problems with my sleeping bag leaking out a lot of its dunen, Helsport are sending me a new bag to South America. Thanks to Helsport in Norway 16JUL2010

Bike cleared from SA custom's

I finally managed to get my carnet and bike stamped out of South Africa. What a hassle. I guess there is one dude in Durban with red ears. Now waiting to get info about bike being loaded on MOL HONOR MS bound for South America 16JUL2010

Are we leaving soon?

After I got the South African Automobile Association into the mess about the custom issue on the bike, things have started to lighten up. Bike should be cleared by custom's tomorrow. Poor custom officer! 14JUL2010

Shipment to Argentina

Delayed another week. Customs refuse to stamp my Carnet out of SA and ship is delayed again 07JUL2010
