Hi You can have it either way. You will be able to go on your own journey around South America or join me/ us on guided expeditions. Our price for renting a new Kawasaki KLR 650 will be 89 USD per day for rental of at least 1 month. The bikes are equipped with all the things you need for storing your luggauge. The KLR's are a perfect selection for riding South America as they are capable with all terrains. You need to bring your own helmet and motorcycle clothes (we can also arrange rental of this here) as well if you need a GPS, map, camping equipment etc. If you fly into Santiago, Chile we will pick you up from the airport (free) and make sure your accomodation is free until you get on the bike and hit the road. It can be done the very same day you touch down in Santiago. If you need the bike another place in South America let us know? You must see El Bolson in Argentina (hippie paradise), Ushuaia (southern most town in the world), El Calafate (Glacier of Perito Moreno), El Chalten (Fitz Roy). As for Chile the Ruta 7 (Carretera Austral) is incredible. Also Buenos Aires is very nice and I have good connections to a great biker hostel there called Dakar Motos. As for the north San Pedro Atacama, Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia and Machu Pichu in Peru You will love the people of Argentina and Chile, they are very welcoming and nice, especially if one travels on motorcycle. In January we are planning a journey to the Dakar Rally, you can also go on your own. Tomas and I have great knowledge in travelling on motorcycles around South America and in the rest of the world. We want to make this different than what our competitors can offer you. Futhermore we believe that there is a need for an overland journey that people can afford.
