Visit at the doctor

I went to the doctor to discuss what kind of malaria medicine I should go for? He adviced me to try the Lariam before I go. Meanwhile, I have search this product on Google, and found that many people are getting sick of this product.
I have now emailed SSI (Statens Serum Institut). so they can advise me what product to choose. And what vaccinations I should get?
