Hi Jeff
Thank you very much for your support and your writings here. You have a deal, I will drop by and say hello to you and your family. I don't want to miss seeing a guy who have the will to help others even when he is without a job, not many would do that. I cross my fingers that you will get a new and good job before I arrive to visit you.
I will for sure be up for a ride with you and the other guys in the States.
See you up north in 2010 or 2011?
Thanks again for helping a motorcycle traveller.
Salute
Mick

Mick,
Your journey is an inspiration to all of us that dream of doing this trip. Its far to easy to make excuses NOT to do it. I applaud you for your efforts.
Two things I love, swimming and motorcycles. The swimming you will see on my blog about my dedication to it. As far as bike, I'm currently riding a 2003 VFR that I just got in April, loving it so far. I live in GA (USA) in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains....an awesome place to ride! So if you ever get through GA, just North of Atlanta, there are LOTS of us VFR owners that would love to meet you and would certainly offer you board, food, cash....support!
So good luck in your journey and I hope we cross paths some time! I'm gonna donate what I can (I'm unemployed at the moment or it would be more) and hopefully it helps!
Best of luck and keep two up!

Hi René,
You can guess that I´m not Mick, I´m more pretty than him hehe. I´m the support to Mick when he has not internet.
He can´t reply you by the moment becouse he´s on the road and of course without conection to internet. Anyway I will try to help you with your questions...
He has arrived at Congo right now acompanied by Ian (another guy who is around the world). They will be at SA (Cape Town) around of a month, so you could meet him when you arrive to down there.
He will reply you when he´ll have internet which I hope will be soon. Meanwhile if you need something from him just tell me and I will say to him.
Take care on the road and ride safe...
Nice to meet you and regards from Spain

Hi Mick,
we don't know each other (yet). Looks like I am pretty close behind you on the way down to SA. I heard about you, when I spent a couple of days in the Zebrabar, St. Louis (from Monika...). I am travelling with my BMW R1200GS and want to be in South Africa for the World Cup, my first match will be on June 30th. Currently I am in Quaga, Burkina. Tomorrow I will go to Niger and then head on to Nigeria and Cameroon.
I got a little bit confused, where you are right now. You're travelling south also, right? Have you passed through Nigeria already? Where are you right now?
Maybe we'll have the chance to meet each other. Would be cool, I like your posts very much.
If you like, check out my blog also, it's http://afrique-zwansischsehn.blogspot.com.
Cheers & CU,
